Young Carer Wild Mammals Program (Perth Zoo)
An exciting zoo adventure where young carers will investigate the challenges animals face and learn scientific skills to become a Warrior for Wildlife!
Monday, 7 September 2026
About this activity...
Warriors for Wildlife offers a unique experience where children aged 8-12 years old will:
• Get a meet and greet with some of the amazing people working at Perth Zoo.
• Participate in hands-on, interactive challenges to discover ways they can help wildlife.
• Enjoy a special experience not available to general zoo visitors.
• Participate in a special Nocturnal house experience before it opens to the public as we help the keepers prepare some animal enrichment.
• Put your mammal knowledge to the test as your team designs and builds a mammal habitat out of LEGO.
