We’re excited to highlight four new partners who have signed on to our Act Belong Commit campaign. We look forward to working with these fantastic organisations to enable mentally healthy communities.
Western Roar Netball Club
Western Roar Netball Club has competed in the Gold Industry Group Western Netball League since 2019. The Club has had enormous competitive success and believes it has a responsibility to use its influence to promote a healthy lifestyle, foster greater understanding between cultures and provide opportunities people with a disability.
Southern Aboriginal Corporation
Southern Aboriginal Corporation (SAC) serves the Noongar community in the South-West and Great Southern regions of Western Australia. It provides representation and services in health, housing, recreation, employment, education and training, whilst promoting Noongar social and cultural values.
Based in Albany, communities supported by SAC the Corporation range from Beverley to the north, Busselton on the western coast and Bremmer Bay on the southern coast.
Back to Nature Ecotherapy
Back to Nature Ecotherapy is a counselling service that specialises in men’s mental health, by using nature-based activity to promote healing and growth in men aged 18 – 65, with a special focus on men living with a disability.
Back to Nature believes we are all deeply connected to nature and that being outdoors is critical to a man’s connection to himself. The service offers one-on-one and group activities in nature and aims to promote community and interconnectedness.
Toy Libraries Australia
Toy Libraries Australia oversees more than 280 not-for-profit toy libraries across Australia, including over 60 in WA. The Association supports families with children from early childhood through to primary school years and promotes the crucial importance of play and community connection.
