13YARN [Thirteen YARN] is the first national crisis support line for mob who are feeling overwhelmed or having difficulty coping. 13YARN offer a confidential one-on-one yarning opportunity with a Lifeline-trained Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Crisis Supporter who can provide crisis support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 13YARN empowers the community with the opportunity to yarn without judgement and provide a culturally safe space to speak about their needs, worries or concerns.

Aboriginal Family Respite Service provides support to Aboriginal families who care for a family member with a mental illness by facilitating monthly respite days for the whole family. These days have a pampering, education and support focus. Referrals are open to Aboriginal families who reside in the northern suburbs and the respite days are delivered from the UnitingCare West Merriwa Service Centre. Click for more information.
