Welcome to Our New Mentally Healthy Partners – August-September

We’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new Partners, like-minded organisations who share a vision to build more mentally healthy communities across Western Australia.
Shire of East Pilbara
The Shire of East Pilbara is one of the four local government areas in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, and with an area close to 380,000 square kilometres, is the third largest municipality in the world and the largest Shire in the Australia. It’s main town sites are Newman, Marble Bar and Nullagine, with a number of Aboriginal Communities namely Jigalong, Punmu and Parngurr, lrrungadgi and Parnpajina. The Shire of East Pilbara is not just about resources – it’s also about resourcefulness. It provides a variety of services and activities for the residents, ratepayers and visitors in the Shire.
Adventure Connections
Adventure Connections provides a wide range of day-use, overnight and holiday program opportunities which combine outdoor learning, nature, cultural, health and wellness activities, with the intention of creating therapeutic outcomes for the community, whilst also increasing participation in the outdoors.
Belmont Alliance Against Depression
Belmont Alliance Against Depression has joined a network of global and local European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD) partners to lead the implementation of the EAAD framework in the City of Belmont, Western Australia. The EAAD is an approach based on evaluated trials and is recognised as the world’s best practice for the care and treatment of people with depression and in the prevention of suicide. It is being adapted to meet the needs of the Belmont community.
Central Aquatic Swimming and Lifesaving Club
Central Aquatic Swimming and Lifesaving Club has a focus upon striving to achieve your personal best while having fun. As a team, they endeavour to promote swimmers both competitively and socially, and the promotion of a positive attitude towards swimming and lifesaving experiences underpins all that they do. A key ingredient for club swimmers’ is to enjoy their swimming and the companionship of teammates.
Connect Victoria Park
Connect Victoria Park Inc is committed to making Vic Park a great place for everyone 55+. They create opportunities for people to connect with each other, build community and stay healthy. They also provide affordable housing for older people and run the first Village Hub in WA !

Food Truck Pop Up hosts pop up community food truck events for foodies in local communities throughout Perth, Australia. Look out for a pop up near you!
Fremantle City Football Club
The players, supporters and members behind the FCFC represent more than 100 years of combined existence between them, which is a collective milestone that no other joint clubs in the State of Western Australia can share. The club’s football focus is to provide an environment allowing all players to express themselves and enjoy their football to assist them on their football journey to be the best footballer that they can be.

Welcoming Women is a women’s group which meets monthly to connect, share, learn and grow together in a supportive environment. Welcoming Women is about women coming together and allowing themselves to have this precious time and space. It provides learning and growth opportunities, and creates a support network for women seeking empowerment, nurturing, respect and joy.
