CALD Women of Canning

40+ Women's Lifestyle Group. Refreshments, interpreters, information, activities.

The aim of the group is to encourage the growing population of culturally and linguistically diverse women being settled into the local government area to become self-reliant and active participants in the wider community. Through provision of workshops, information sessions, outings and activities the more mature women, who are often reluctant to get involved, will gain the confidence to step outside self-imposed boundaries and seek inclusion in to mainstream activities.

By encouraging the women to take pride in, celebrate and promote their cultural origins, customs and beliefs the community at large will be enriched.

The group meets weekly in Bentley, on Tuesday from 10:30 am till 12:30 pm starting February 7th at Bentley Community Centre – Youth Room. Interpreters and refreshments are provided.

Where: Bentley Community Centre (Youth Room), Nyamup Way, Bentley
When: Every Tuesday
Time:
10.30am - 12.30pm
Contact: Danielle - 9345 5335 or projectofficer@ishar.org.au
