Duke of Ed WA

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award (Duke of Ed) is the world's leading achievement award for young people, bringing together practical experiences and life skills to create committed global citizens and equipping young people for life.

It is voluntary, non-competitive and available to anyone aged 14-24. It's all about individual challenge – the only person you compete against is yourself by challenging your own beliefs about what you can achieve!

There are three levels, each progressively more challenging, which when successfully completed, lead to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.

Explore your potential by learning a skill, being physically active, volunteering in your community, going on an adventure and to achieve a Gold Award, taking part in a Residential Project.

You'll design your own Award program, set your own goals, and record your own progress. Best of all, you'll have fun!

Over eight million young people have participated in the Award since it began in 1956 and many millions more have felt its impact in their communities.

So go on, why not give it a go? Challenge yourself and discover the world around you!
