About this activity...
Welcoming of new members, any age & musical ability. Must be able to read sheet music & have an interest in playing in a group. Our current band has over 20 members, ranging from 14 yrs though to mid 70s. We tailor music to suit, & are committed to providing a safe & enjoyable atmosphere for all. Our conductor Peter Hind is internationally renowned as a band leader, known for his non-boring methods! We're actively looking for more brass & woodwind players & are the perfect group for rusty players wanting to get back into it. We aim to perform 3 - 4 times per year for the community.
