Challenge Brass Band, an all inclusive community band, participated in Pride Parade 2021, proudly supporting our LGBTQIA+ members and those in the wider community.
About this activity...
Challenge Brass Band was created in 1987. It was originally formed for people with disability and able-bodied musicians of all levels and abilities to come together to play music.We have two bands: a training band for those who are new to playing a brass instrument or who need a refresher, and a main band for more experienced players.
We are an inclusive group and are proud to have several out and proud members of the LGBTQIA+ family. We are dedicated to our community, and we participate in many community events each year, such as Anzac Day services, Wanneroo Show, and Christmas Carols.
