Announcing the winner of our Volunteer Week Competition!

Created Wednesday, 10 May 2017 in News
"Volunteering, on my own, with friends, my children and family, gives me a sense of belonging. I feel like I've helped, and my contribution makes a difference. I feel satisfaction from achieving goals, and have a huge sense of pride when I/we complete what we set to do. I have found my best friends through volunteering, and I have met some wonderful people who have also been great to know professionally. I know my children will continue to volunteer and their children will no doubt give, and reap the rewards of their contributions".

Thank you to everyone that entered the Act-Belong-Commit Volunteering Competition. We had almost 150 entries explaining their story of how volunteering keeps them mentally healthy!!

Kendell had the winning entry (above). Congratulations Kendell, enjoy your iPad and happy volunteering!

The logo and slogan, ‘Standing Strong Together’ were developed on the traditional land of the Ngarluma People alongside Elders, local Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in Roebourne.
