South Perth Learning Centre

South Perth Learning Centre is an adult education and life-long learning centre based in South Perth, offering courses, workshops and outings.

We are a self-funded, not-for-profit organisation, operating with revenue from membership and course fees together with fund-raising activities.

Our members come from all walks of life and from all over the Metropolitan area. We pride ourselves on being inclusive and sharing expierences, skills, knowledge and friendship in a supportive and caring environment.

Our courses, talks, outings and activities cater for the most discerning palate - there is always something to do, someone to listen to and something to amuse.

We are open Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday mornings 10am - 2.00pm.

Standing Strong Together: Aboriginal Act-Belong-Commit logo shared across WA

Mentally Healthy WA this week released an Aboriginal logo and slogan for use state-wide. The adaptation of the well-known Act-Belong-Commit message is designed for use by Aboriginal partner groups who want to promote social and emotional wellbeing in communities across WA, and for organisations who sponsor or support events run by Aboriginal groups.

The logo and slogan, ‘Standing Strong Together’ were developed on the traditional land of the Ngarluma People alongside Elders, local Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in Roebourne.
