Indigenous Youth Mobility Progamme

The Indigenous Youth Mobility Programme (IYMP) will give young Indigenous people from regional and remote areas the chance to relocate to Cairns, Toowoomba, Townsville, Rockhampton, Mossman Gorge, Darwin, Adelaide, Perth and Coffs Harbour to access the training and employment opportunities available there, including Australian Apprenticeships, University courses and accredited courses delivered by TAFE and other Registered Training Organisations. Once the young people have developed their skills they will be supported to take up employment either in their home communities or elsewhere.

Reaching new heights

We’re pleased to support our campaign ambassador Garth Civil on his latest personal challenge, a climb to the summit of Mount Imja Tse (more commonly known as Island Peak) in Nepal.

Garth, a career firefighter, has been involved with Act-Belong-Commit as campaign ambassador since 2013 and very much lives and breathes the Act-Belong-Commit ethos.
