Get on Track Challenge

The Get on Track Challenge (GOTC) is a free, online team-based challenge that will help you make positive steps towards a healthier lifestyle.

Work as a team to progress along a virtual track by each eating two fruit and five vegetables, and completing at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day.

The GOTC was originally developed in 2008 by Diabetes WA, with funding from the Department of Health. The program targeted Western Australian adults in the community. The GOTC was relaunched in April 2013, with a new look, feel and focus.

Standing Strong Together: Aboriginal Act-Belong-Commit logo shared across WA

Mentally Healthy WA this week released an Aboriginal logo and slogan for use state-wide. The adaptation of the well-known Act-Belong-Commit message is designed for use by Aboriginal partner groups who want to promote social and emotional wellbeing in communities across WA, and for organisations who sponsor or support events run by Aboriginal groups.

The logo and slogan, ‘Standing Strong Together’ were developed on the traditional land of the Ngarluma People alongside Elders, local Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in Roebourne. The project looked at how the Act-Belong-Commit campaign could be culturally adapted for Aboriginal people. Read more...
